Keane Lewis-Potter was announced as a Brentford player on Tuesday 12 July.

His performances for Hull City had made him one of the EFL’s most coveted talents.

Having shone in League One and the Championship during the past two seasons, Keane is a player on an upward trajectory.

The 21-year-old feels that Brentford is the perfect place to continue his development.

“Brentford is a club on the up,” Keane told us at Jersey Road after putting pen to paper on a six-year contract.

“It was definitely the right choice for me. All you have to do is look at the team over the years to see how much it has improved.”

Having been part of the Hull City side that lost 5-1 to Brentford in February 2020, the England Under-21 international is already aware of the quality in The Bees squad.

“That team was relentless. It was my first league start and I came off the pitch having been beaten 5-1! It was special to make my full league debut, but I don’t have happy memories of the game itself!”
