A splash of colour has been added to a classic moment from Brentford history.

The Club has worked with the Football League to re-colour the famous photo of Brentford's 1934/35 team leaving the Griffin Park pitch after securing promotion to the top flight.

The Bees were presented with the Division Two championship shield after the game against Sheffield United and fans swarmed the pitch in celebration.

The re-colouring has been provide by The Football League as part of the #WallofColour campaign.

The new photo shows what a massive difference colour can make and comes as The Bees are calling on fans to create a #WallofColour at the opening home match of the season against Charlton Athletic on Saturday, August 9.

Supporters are asked to wear red and white to inspire The Bees to get the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship campaign off to the best possible start and then share their efforts on social media using #WallofColour.
