With only one game of the npower Football League season remaining – the Championship Play-Off Final on Monday – the 24 teams that will make up League One next season have been confirmed.

Brentford will be meeting 16 of the teams they met during the 2012/13 league season – a year when The Bees finished third in League One and reached the Play-Off Final.

One of Brentford’s seven new opponents will be coming to Griffin Park for the first time in 21 years.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, relegated from The Championship this year, were last in the same division as Brentford in 1992/93 when The Bees were in the second tier.

Wolves won 2-0 at Griffin Park on the first day of the 1992/93 season in August but Brentford got their revenge with a 2-1 win at Molineux in February.

The two other teams relegated from The Championship have been more recent visitors to Griffin Park.

The Bees took on Peterborough United during the 2010/11 season.

Brentford beat The Posh, who were promoted at the end of that season, at Griffin Park but lost the reverse fixture at London Road – both games ended 2-1 to the home team.

Bristol City were last in the same division as Brentford in the 2006/07 season.

The Bees lost 1-0 at Ashton Gate and the teams drew 1-1 at Griffin Park.

Brentford were relegated in 2007 and by the time they got back to the third tier, City had won promotion to the second.

The teams met in League Cup ties in 2007 and 2009, City won both games at Griffin Park.

Brentford met one of the four teams promoted from npower League Two as recently as December.

Bradford City won the League Two Play-Off Final on Saturday to clinch promotion back to the third tier for the first time since they were relegated with Brentford in 2007.

The Bees faced Bradford in an FA Cup with Budweiser Second Round tie earlier this season, winning at Griffin Park after extra time after the teams had drawn 1-1 in Yorkshire.

The teams last met in league competition in the 2008/09 season – Brentford won 2-1 at Griffin Park and drew 1-1 away from home on their way to the Coca-Cola League Two championship.

The three automatically promoted sides – Gillingham, Port Vale and Rotherham United – are less recent visitors to Griffin Park.

The Bees last faced Rotherham United during that 2008/09 title-winning season – drawing both games 0-0.

Rotherham have moved in to a their new purpose-build New York Stadium since they last played The Bees so Brentford fans will have a new ground to visit this season.

The 2008/09 season was also the last time Brentford faced Port Vale – The Bees won both games, 3-0 at Vale Park and 2-0 at Griffin Park.

Gillingham were promoted with The Bees in 2009 but were relegated a year later, winning their way back at the third attempt this season.

Brentford beat Gillingham home and away in 2009/10 – 4-0 at Griffin Park and 1-0 in Kent.
