Lee Doyle, Chief Executive of Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, spoke to the BBC last night. On BBC Radio London yesterday, Tuesday 14 December, part of the 6-8pm sports show was dedicated to the work of football clubs in their community. And that included what has been done by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust in the past years.
Our Trust has been working in our community all through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Lee was on Radio London talking about some of the activities that have been done in the past year and more. Lee also looked ahead to what is to come for the Trust.
The past year has seen the Trust move in to the Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub and a new base close to our new stadium is being prepared. The Trust have also seen benefits from Brentford's promotion to the Premier League. Lee discussed this on the show and more can be found on the Trust website here.
The show is available for those who want to listen again. It can be heard here for the next few weeks. Lee was on 1:17 in to the show.
