Only one of Brentford’s young players out on loan was in action this week.

Youth Team midfield player Max Herbert is at Ashford Town (Middlesex), who also play in the Evo-Stick Southern League Central Division, also on a work experience basis.

He scored for Ashford’s Second XI, the Suburban Team, as they beat South Park 4-1 on Tuesday night.

Antonio German is with Gillingham on loan.

The Development Squad striker joined the promotion-chasing npower League Two side on loan at the end of last month.

Gillingham did not play in midweek.

Development Squad central defender Alfie Mawson is with Maidenhead United, of the Blue Square Bet South, on loan.

Alfie played for Brentford’s Development Squad against Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday so did not play for Maidenhead against Dover Athletic.

Brentford scholars Josh Clarke and Tyrell Miller-Rodney are currently with Carshalton Athletic, of the Ryman Premier League, on work experience while Youth Team central defender Stefan Tomasevic is on a work experience placement with Evo-Stick Southern League Central Division Northwood.

Neither Carshalton nor Northwood had a game this week.
