Development Squad striker Luke Norris played a key role as Dagenham and Redbridge picked up a Sky Bet League Two win on Tuesday night.

Luke made his ninth appearance for The Daggers in an away match against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night, March 11.

The striker, who has scored three goals for the East London side, set up the winner as Dagenham and Redbridge came from behind to win 2-1.

Ade Azeez scored both goals for The Daggers, who are 12th in League Two, six points outside the Play-Off places.

Luke was one of seven Brentford players to feature for loan clubs in midweek.

Farid El Alagui came on as a substitute for Dundee United in a Scottish Premiership game against St Johnstone on Wednesday, March 12.

The striker came on in the 66th minute to play his ninth game for Dundee United.

His side were 1-0 down at the time and he could not help them back in to the game.

Farid had appeals for a penalty turned down and came close to levelling but the game ended 1-0.

Dundee United are fourth in the Scottish Premiership, ten points behind second-placed Aberdeen.

Toumani Diagouraga played for Portsmouth as they recorded a third straight 0-0 draw.

The midfield player made his fifth appearance for Sky Bet League Two Pompey in a 0-0 draw with Burton Albion on Tuesday, a match that followed scoreless games against Chesterfield and Cheltenham Town.

Portsmouth are 17th in League Two, five points clear of the relegation places.

Development Squad central defender Alfie Mawson helped Welling United to an away win.

Alfie made his fifth appearance for the Skrill Premier side in a match against Lincoln City on Tuesday.

Welling fell a goal behind early on at Sincil Bank but came back, scoring two goals in three minutes to lead 2-1 at half time.

They held that lead and took the points.

Welling are 11th in the Skrill Premier table, only five points outside the Play-Off places.

Maidenhead United, where Development Squad midfield player Tyrell Miller-Rodney is on loan, played twice in the midweek period.

Tyrell was not involved as they lost 1-0 at home to Boreham Wood on Tuesday.

The visitors scored the only goal of the game in stoppage time.

He did, however, play last night, Thursday March 14, against Gosport Borough, completing 90 minutes.

Maidenhead lead at half time but conceded two goals in the second half, the last again coming at the death, to lose 2-1.

Maidenhead are 18th in the Skrill South table, three points outside the relegation zone.

The final two of Brentford’s players in loan action at the weekend were both in the Burnham team that lost to Chesham United in a Calor League Premier Division match on Tuesday.

George Pilbeam played his fifth game for the Buckinghamshire side while Lewis Lavender played his second.

Burnham conceded early in each half and then went 3-0 down inside the last ten minutes.

A late goal to make it 3-1 was mere consolation.

Burnham are 16th in the Calor League Premier Division table.

Brentford have two more players out on loan.

Shaleum Logan is at Scottish Premiership Aberdeen, who did not play this week, while Aaron Pierre is with Sky Bet League Two Wycombe Wanderers.

Aaron was an unused substitute as Wycombe were beaten by Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday.

Development Squad winger Josh Clarke, who has been on loan at Braintree Town, has now returned to Griffin Park as his deal expired on Wednesday.

He played in Brentford’s Under-21 Professional Development League Two South defeat to Bristol City on Monday rather than Braintree’s Skrill Premier win over Wrexham on Tuesday.
