Ryan Trevitt scored his first senior goal to help Exeter City to a 2-0 Sky Bet League One victory over Carlisle United at Brunton Park on Saturday.
The game was goalless heading into the final 20 minutes when Trevitt controlled a half-cleared corner on his chest, before lashing a low shot home from inside the D.
The 20-year-old was involved in Exeter’s second, nine minutes from time, as his cut-back was eventually swept home by Demetri Mitchell.
The goals wrapped up a second league win of the campaign for the Grecians and helped them bounce back from a 1-0 midweek defeat at Portsmouth, a game which saw another 90 minutes for Trevitt.
Reading are the visitors to St James’ Park next weekend.
