Brentford B defender Lukas Talbro has left the Club and joined FC Nordsjælland. The 19-year-old defender completed a medical earlier today, Friday 31 August, after an undisclosed fee was agreed for his transfer. Lukas returns to Denmark after just over two years in West London and joins the team currently ninth in the Danish Superliga.

The move is a return home for Lukas, who is a Denmark Under-19 international. He joined Brentford B when the group was formed in the summer of 2016, signing from Odense Boldklub. He has been a regular in the Brentford B defence over the past two seasons and has regularly captained the side. By the end of the 2017/18 season Lukas had played 70 games for Brentford B, more than anyone else.

Kevin O’Connor, Brentford B Head Coach, said: “I am pleased that Lukas has been able to get a good move to a good team. He has been great for us in his two years here and his versatility has meant he can play full back on both sides. He has also been a willing learner and has developed in his time with us.

“Lukas is now 19 and lots of players of his age are playing First Team football. He has a lot of very fine players in the way of his path to the First Team here and when there was an opportunity to return home and sign for a good club, it made sense for him to take it. I wish him all the best for the future.”

Lukas started out at local clubs Hojby and Boldklubben 1913 before joining Odense. He was a Denmark Under-16 international when he joined The Bees and has now represented his country at Under-18 and Under-19 level as well. In total he has played ten games for his country.
