Brentford B are swiftly back in action as they welcome Millwall Under-21s in a behind closed doors fixture with the game getting under way at 2pm.
The side were last in action on Tuesday afternoon as they faced AFC Wimbledon from Sky Bet League Two at Jersey Road. The Dons came out with a narrow 1-0 win despite Brentford creating a number of chances, but they were unable to get themselves on the scoresheet.
The opponents
Millwall were also in action earlier this week as they claimed a 4-1 win over Birmingham City in the Professional Development League on Monday.
The goals came from Isaac Olaofe, an own goal, Abdul Abdulmalik and Tom Leahy in a match which saw Birmingham reduced to nine men.
It’s been a strong start to the season for the Lions as they opened their league campaign with a win over Hull City before they beat Barnsley 4-0 on 16 August.
Kevin Nugent is in charge of Millwall's Under 21s, after a playing career which saw him feature for the likes of Leyton Orient, Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City.
Nugent has been involved with the Lions since 2017 and helped Millwall to the Professional Development League title in 2019/20.
