Brentford B will face Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 15 October in a 12pm kick-off. The match will be played behind closed doors.

The young Bees go into the game unbeaten in five matches and were last in action against Queens Park Rangers Under-21s where they came away with a 2-2 draw following goals from Tony Yogane and one of the Brentford Trialists.

The opposition

Crewe compete in Sky Bet League Two and are in action on Friday night against Tranmere Rovers away from home. Their previous two results saw them pick up draws against Gillingham and Carlisle United as they currently sit 13th in the division. In charge of Crewe is Alex Morris and the 39-year-old is in his first senior role having worked within the club’s Academy system with the Under-18s. He went on to take the first team management role last season on an interim basis before taking the job permanently in late April this year. B Team forward player Lachlan Brook, who has been on loan at Crewe this season, could well feature for the side when they face Tranmere on Friday evening.

Last time out

There were positives to take from the Bees’ last outing against QPR at Jersey Road. The side went ahead with a close-range finish from one of the Trialists before QPR levelled just before the break. Tony Yogane’s first goal for the B Team had the side back in front before our West London neighbours levelled to earn a draw.

Celebrations v QPR
