Brentford B play their first match of 2023 when they head to Erith & Belvedere in a 7:45pm kick-off on Tuesday evening at Park View Road.
The young Bees have been back in training over the past week, and they will once again be aiming to go all the way in this season’s London Senior Cup competition as they meet an in form Erith side who sit top of the Premier Division in the Southern Counties East League.
Recent results
The B Team are unbeaten since 26 November when they played Blackburn Rovers Under-21s in the Premier League Cup. Since then, they’ve been out to the Netherlands, where they drew with Jong PSV before they beat Jong AZ Alkmaar 2-1. Their last match came on 19 December at the Weston Homes Stadium as Neil MacFarlane’s side beat Peterborough United 2-0 in the Premier League Cup with goals from Aaron Pressley and Edon Pruti.

The B Team go into the second round of the competition having progressed to this stage with a 1-0 win over Corinthian-Casuals. Kyreece Lisbie grabbed the game's only goal in the first half to seal the win at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.

Team news
The team has changed a little since that last match at Peterborough with some additions whilst Pressley is now at Accrington Stanley on loan. Romeo Beckham and Conor McManus could make their debuts for the side but are awaiting international clearance, whilst Beaux Booth is continuing his recovery from an injury. The likes of Charlie Farr and Roy Syla are also nearing their returns to fitness. Elsewhere in the ranks, the B Team staff have plenty of options to choose from with competition for places high within the group.

All adults will be able to gain entry to the match at Park View Road for £5 whilst under-16s are able to enter free of charge. Tickets are only available on the gate. Please note, there is no on-site parking available at the ground. There is street parking available nearby. The nearest train station is Welling. Off-peak trains leave half hourly from both London Victoria and London Charing Cross (also calling at Waterloo East and London Bridge).
