Brentford Women’s First Team travel to South London on Sunday as they face Dulwich Hamlet Reserves at The Griffin Sports Ground in a 10:30am kick-off.
Coming off the back of a 5-4 victory in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, Karleigh Osborne’s side will look to make it three wins from three as they come up against a Dulwich team who sit one place above them in third with a game in hand in the LSE Regional WFL Division One North table.
The Bees have had a positive start to the season winning three of their four games so far with a number of players in fine form.
A Chloe Logie hat-trick and goals from Kirsty Matthews and Sophie Troth was enough to see off Woodley United and proceed into the next round of the FA Cup, giving the side confidence to take into the game against Dulwich.
Ahead of Sunday, Manager Karleigh Osborne said: “It’s all about momentum, trying to keep that winning mentality within the team is massive so we are preparing to have another good performance and hopefully get the win.
“I’d like to see the same fight and determination that I saw against Woodley, I thought our patterns of play were exceptional, but I think we could still be slightly more ruthless which I’m hoping to see against Dulwich.”
The home side will feel they have a point to prove after their most recent result in the league, losing 2-1 to Denham United.
Our B team are also in action this weekend as they take on East London Ladies on Sunday, in a Greater London WFL Division One clash at Bedfont Sports Centre at 3:00pm.
