Brentford B play their second match of pre-season on Saturday 16 July as they head to National League side Maidenhead United in a 3pm kick-off at York Road.
Maidenhead have been a familiar test for the B Team over the past year or so and both sides will continue to build match fitness when they face off in Berkshire. Neil MacFarlane’s side opened their pre-season campaign last weekend when they travelled to Salisbury FC. With a handful of signed players, as well as some Trialists, they ran out 3-2 winners over the Southern Premier Division side with Alex Gilbert grabbing the pick of the goals for The Bees with a curled effort. Since then, the side have been back at Jersey Road as they continue to work towards their 2022/23 campaign.
Please note, the match with Maidenhead will now kick-off at 3pm and not 3:30pm as was previously advertised by both clubs.
Tickets for the match with Maidenhead are on sale now with prices as follows: Adults: £10
Concessions: £5
Next Generation (17-22): £5
Under-17: Free

Maidenhead compete in the National League and finished the 2021/22 campaign in 17th place as they collected 51 points from their 44 matches. Their 2022/23 campaign gets under way on Saturday 6 August when they head to Meadow Lane to face Notts County. Their first home match of the season then comes a week later as they host Scunthorpe United. The side were in pre-season action on Tuesday as they were beaten 4-0 by Championship side Reading.
LAST TIME WE MET
The B Team’s first match of 2022 saw them head to York Road on 14 January and they put in an impressive display. Neil MacFarlane’s side ran out 5-1 winners as Nathan Young-Coombes, the side’s top scorer in the 2021/22 season, grabbed a hat-trick whilst there was also a double for defender Jude Russell.

THE NEW BOYS
This week the B Team were pleased to add to their ranks as Kyreece Lisbie and Yehor Yarmoliuk joined the Club. Both players are now training with the group and could be in line for some minutes at York Road with Kyreece particularly looking to add to the game time he earned as a Trialist in the match with Salisbury last week.
