One of the most recognisable referees on the circuit, Mike Dean was promoted to the full referees list in 1997 before graduating to the Select Group of Referees three years later.
During his distinguished career, the Wirral-born official has taken charge of FA Cup Finals, League Cup Finals, and Play-Off finals, as well as spending a decade on the FIFA international list.
Having spent the majority of his career in the top flight, overseeing 551 matches and showing 111 red cards, Dean has only ever refereed us three times.
His first assignment was our 3-1 Sky Bet Championship victory over AFC Bournemouth in February 2015. His most recent two games have both been away EFL Cup ties, against Arsenal in September 2018 and last January's Semi-Final against Tottenham Hotspur, a game which saw Josh Dasilva dismissed late on in a 2-0 defeat.
So far this season, Dean has shown 61 yellow cards and one red card in 19 league and cup outings.
