Myles Peart-Harris will stay at Forest Green Rovers for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old joined Rovers in August on a half-season loan but that has now been extended until the end of the campaign.
Peart-Harris has featured 25 times for Forest Green so far this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
19 of those appearances have come in Sky Bet League One, which Forest Green currently prop up with 20 points from 25 games.
Forest Green have taken 10 points from the five games in which Peart-Harris has scored or assisted with the midfielder setting up goals in wins over Accrington Stanley and Cambridge United and scoring the only goal against local rivals Cheltenham Town last month.
He also scored the opener in a 2-2 draw against Port Vale in October and a Boxing Day consolation at home to Burton Albion.
Peart-Harris played all four of Forest Green’s EFL Trophy games, which they exited in the second round, and their Emirates FA Cup victory over Alvechurch which set up a third-round tie at home to Birmingham City this weekend.
Speaking about his time at Forest Green, Peart-Harris said: “Everybody at Forest Green has been very welcoming from the minute I stepped foot in the place.
“Playing competitive football every week is very good for my individual development but also for the feeling of knowing what it’s like playing for three points each week and the disappointment of not getting any points at times.
“I have learned a lot here, not only as a player but also about myself and my maturity levels.
“It has been tough at times this season; we’ve had to fight and stick together as a team.
“Mentally, it has been about staying strong and physically I’m making sure I’m available every day; both on the training pitch and on matchday.
“I’m excited to continue playing competitive football and looking forward to the new year and further development here.”
Peart-Harris joined Brentford from Chelsea in the summer of 2021, playing two games in the 2021/22 campaign.
He made substitute appearances against Oldham Athletic in the Carabao Cup and Port Vale in the Emirates FA Cup. Myles was also involved in the matchday squad in Premier League games across the season.
He grew up in west London and came through the youth ranks at Chelsea.
His first professional games came for Chelsea under-21 in the Papa John’s Trophy in the 2020/21 season.
He also played for them at under-18 and development squad level.
Peart-Harris has been involved with England at youth international level, playing five games for the under-16 side and featuring for the under-17 group in 2019.
He also attended an England under-19 training camp in November 2020.
