Brentford midfielder Myles Peart-Harris has joined Forest Green Rovers on loan until January.
The 19-year-old completed the switch on Monday and will spend the first half of the season with the Sky Bet League One side.
Myles will be available to play for Forest Green in their Carabao Cup match against Brighton and Hove Albion this week and could make his league debut against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Forest Green have taken four points from their first four League One games and are 20th in the table, with a game in hand on most of the sides above them.
Phil Giles, Brentford FC Director of Football, said: “This is the perfect time for Myles to go on loan and start to play regular senior football. We have lots of midfield options so his game time will be limited if he stays here.
“Forest Green are a very good club for the next phase of his development. We hope it will be a very successful loan and then we can plan the second half of the season for Myles.”
Myles joined Brentford from Chelsea last summer and played two games in the 2021/22 campaign. He made substitute appearances against Oldham Athletic in the Carabao Cup and Port Vale in the Emirates FA Cup. Myles was also involved in the matchday squad in Premier League games across the season.
He grew up in West London and came through the youth ranks at Chelsea. His first professional games came for Chelsea Under-21 in the Papa John’s Trophy in the 2020/21 season. He also played for them at Under-18 and Development Squad level.
Myles has been involved with England at youth international level, playing five games for the Under-16 side and featuring for the Under-17 group in 2019. He also attended an England Under-19 training camp in November 2020.
