Brentford B begin their Middlesex Senior Challenge Cup campaign on Wednesday evening as they face Bedfont Sports in the Second Round of the competition. Kick-off will be at 7:45pm.
Neil MacFarlane’s side had a bye in the First Round of the competition so they will enter in the next stage as they aim for another positive campaign.
The match, which will be played at Bedfont Sports Club, provides another opportunity for Neil MacFarlane’s young Bees to participate in a competitive format against men’s sides and they will be looking to keep up their positive run of form.
They will face a Bedfont side who compete in the Isthmian League South Central Division and are currently 19th in the league table. Last time out they faced Chertsey Town where they held the fourth-place side to a goalless draw at home. The club recently made the announcement that long-serving manager, Paul Johnson, has stepped down as a manager after eight years at the helm.
Last season the side finished third in their league table where they qualified for the Play-Offs. They were beaten in the Semi-Finals 3-1 by Hanwell Town to miss out on promotion.

Bees in fantastic form
The Bees are yet to taste defeat since August where they faced AFC Wimbledon. Since then, they have been on a brilliant run as they beat the likes of Aston Villa Under-21s, as well as sides from Hearts and Crewe Alexandra. As well as picking up wins there, they have also been in fine scoring form having hit three past Villa and five against Crewe and Hearts.
Last season in this competition
It was a campaign of many positives last season as the Bees made it all to the way to Final, but they were narrowly beaten by National League side Barnet on penalties at the Beveree Stadium.
Last time out
Watch the best of the action as the B Team beat Aston Villa Under-21s 3-1 in the Premier League Cup.
