Brentford B return to action on Tuesday 14 February when they face National League side Wealdstone in the quarter-final of the Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup in a 7:45pm kick-off at Grosvenor Vale.
The young Bees have just returned from their trip to Portugal where they competed in the Atlantic Cup where they played three matches against senior opponents. They’ll now test themselves against the National League side as they look to confirm a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
In opposition
Neil MacFarlane’s side will face a Wealdstone team who are eleventh in the National League, and they will go into the match having been beaten 3-1 away at Wrexham at the weekend. Paul Mullin had given the Welsh side the lead before Wealdstone levelled on 50 minutes through Tarryn Allarakhia. Goals from Jacob Mendy and Sam Dalby then ensured all three points for Wrexham. Wealdstone’s last win came on 4 February as the side beat Dagenham & Redbridge 1-0 at Grosvenor Vale.
