As part of a longstanding partnership with Stonewall, the Premier League has developed new Rainbow Laces education resources for primary and secondary schools. The Premier League and all 20 clubs have celebrating Rainbow Laces over the past few weeks, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and making it clear that football is for everyone. As part of this work, new resources were created to facilitate discussions around sexuality, allyship and empowering young people to tackle discrimination.

This year’s Rainbow Laces campaign encourages people to speak up on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community. The League and clubs are using their reach and appeal to help people engage in meaningful conversation and show the importance of allyship. All Premier League matches taking place between 27 November and 2 December were dedicated to Stonewall’s campaign. This included our home match against Everton and our away match against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills. The education resources on the Premier League Primary Stars website are available free to teachers in primary and secondary schools in England and Wales. Find them here.
