Brentford B midfield player Reece Cole has joined Sky Bet League Two Yeovil Town on loan for the season. The 20-year-old completed his move to the League Two side earlier today, Friday 27 July, and trained with Yeovil this morning. He will be available for the start of their League Two campaign against Bury next Saturday, 4 August.

Reece will spend the whole of the 2018/19 campaign with the Somerset side, but the deal does include an option to end the loan in January. It will be Reece’s second loan as he spent part of last season at Newport County. He played five games for Newport, scoring the winner on his debut against Coventry City, but had to return to West London after picking up a knee injury.

Kevin O’Connor, B Team Head Coach, said: “Reece has a fantastic opportunity to develop and gain experience in league football with Yeovil. He needs to prove himself every week and show people the undoubted ability he has both on and off the ball. We wish him well and look forward to watching his progress.”

Reece has spent the first part of pre-season training with the First Team group and went to Germany on the training camp earlier this month. Reece also played in friendlies against Boreham Wood, Karlsruher Sport-Club and Wycombe Wanderers. He made his professional debut in Brentford’s Sky Bet Championship win over Nottingham Forest in 2017.
