- Mohamed Saïd Benrahma was born on 10 August 1995 in the small city of Aïn Témouchent in North-West Algeria

- He began his youth career with local side NRB Bethioua before his family moved to France when Saïd was 11.

- His first club in France was amateur side US Colomiers, before he joined OGC Nice in 2013, aged 18.

- Saïd made his first-team debut in October of that year, as a late substitute in OGC’s Ligue 1 defeat against Toulouse.

- At Nice, Saïd was a teammate of fellow Bee Neal Maupay, the duo featuring twice together for Nice during the 2013/14 Ligue 1 season.

- Saïd ended the 2014/15 season in fine form with a goal and two assists in his three Ligue 1 appearances. His winning goal against Reims was his first in professional football.

- That form carried over to the next season and it was rewarded, in October, with his first cap for Algeria. The then 20-year-old featuring as a late substitute in a 1-0 friendly win over Senegal.

- He spent the second-half of that season on loan at fellow Ligue 1 club SCO Angers, scoring once in 13 appearances for SCO.

- Saïd spent the last two seasons on loan in Ligue 2 with GFC Ajaccio and LB Châteauroux. Last season was his most successful campaign thus far, with 10 goals and five assists in 33 appearances as LB finished ninth.

- In total, Saïd has scored 17 goals, with 11 assists, in 79 professional appearances.
