After winning January's vote, Said was in the running for the February award after netting five goals during the month, including a hat-trick against Hull City, to take his tally into double figures for the season. As well as that haul of goals, Said also completed 20 successful dribbles during the month, the third most of any second tier player.

However, it was Leeds United's Ayling who took the online fans' vote.
