Sales of Brentford Football Club ‘Early Bird’ Season Tickets have increased again.
The Club was selling Season Tickets at reduced prices until yesterday, Wednesday July 3, and thousands of Brentford fans took advantage.
Sales of Season Tickets at ‘Early Bird’ prices were up 12 per cent on 2012/13 levels.
Sales are now 25 per cent higher than they were for the 2011/12 season.
Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted with number of Season Tickets we sold during the ‘Early Bird’ period.
“There has been substantial growth in sales over the past year, which is pleasing, and over the past 24 months.
“Despite the disappointment at the end, it was an exciting season in 2012/13 and I believe the fans can see what Manager Uwe Rösler is trying to achieve and the entertaining style of football we want to play.
“The fans are backing the Club in growing numbers and everyone at Griffin Park appreciates the support given by our fans.
“It is also important that we have seen a very healthy percentage of new Season Ticket Holders and this is vital as we continue to develop our fanbase ahead of the move to a new stadium.”
The Brentford FC Ticket Office will start sending out Season Tickets on July 15.
They will be sent out by tracked post, which means the Club can track them but they do not need signing for.
Due to the number of Season Tickets to send out, the postage process will take around two weeks.
Season Tickets for 2013/14 are still on sale.
