Taking the metro to the stadium

The easiest way to get to the stadium is by taking a metro rail service from the city centre.

The closest station to the stadium is Colégio Militar Metro Station, which is a 10-minute walk from the ground. The station is on the Blue (Azul) line.

Meeting point for Brentford fans

Fans headed to Estádio da Luz are recommended to meet at Praça do Comércio in the city centre from 2pm to meet other Bees fans before the game.

The meeting point is at the centre of a large, waterside public square surrounded with many options for food and drink.

You can find Praça do Comércio on the waterfront opposite Arco da Rua Augusta, a popular local landmark.

The square is also a short walk from Terreiro do Paço Station Metro Station, which has a direct service to Estádio da Luz, taking approximately 20 minutes on the Blue line.

Entering the stadium

Turnstiles open at 6pm and the away fans entrance is gate 23 V.

All fans will be searched on entry.

Please note that security at the ground may select away fans at random for an ID check. Please make sure you have ID on before entering the ground.

All banners and flags will be checked on arrival.

Exploring Lisbon

Lisbon Cathedral, commonly known as the Sé, is one of the most famous landmarks in the city and a short walk from the Brentford fan meeting point.

Also nearby is São Jorge Castle at the top of São Jorge hill, or fans can go to Praça do Rossio which has many bars and restaurants to enjoy before or after the match.

For families, Lisbon Zoo is accessible via metro on the Blue line and has more than 2,000 animals and wide range of attractions for all ages.
