Getting to Old Trafford 

Old Trafford is located in the Salford Quays area of Manchester, a 60-minute walk from the city centre.

The stadium is served by major transport links including bus, tram and rail services.

The local surroundings to Old Trafford are extremely busy on matchdays.

Please plan your route to the stadium in advance and allow more time than usual for your journey.

Travel and transport 

There is no planned rail disruption for Wednesday 5 April and supporters travelling from London stations should disembark at Manchester Piccadilly station.

We encourage fans to check before the travel - use the National Rail journey planner ahead of your departure.  

Supporters can also get to Old Trafford by bus, train or the Metro Link tram service. Please use the Transport for Greater Manchester journey planner to plan your visit.  

The closest Metro Link tram to the stadium is the Old Trafford station, which is five minutes away from the ground on foot. The Metro Link departs from Manchester Piccadilly Station and is roughly a 30-minute journey from Manchester city centre.

Old Trafford station is accessible for wheelchair users. The Trafford Park line is now also open, with the new stops at the Imperial War Museum and Wharfside being just a short walk to the ground. 

Parking at Old Trafford 

Matchday parking at Old Trafford must be booked ahead of the fixture. You can purchase a space via the Manchester United ticketing portal and all car parks are a short walk from the stadium.

If you are travelling to the stadium by car on matchday, you can use the post code M16 0RA.  

Access to car parks E1 and E2 can only be gained via Wharfside Way with the relevant permits.

Anyone attempting to access via Chester Road will be directed around the traffic system which will cause further delays.   

Ticket information  

Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Manchester United by the Brentford FC ticket office.

If duplicate tickets are arranged, they will be available to collect from ticketing and membership services, four hours prior to kick-off on the day of the game, and only on the production of valid photo ID.

Duplicates can be collected from the ticketing and membership services building (main ticket office). This is a separate building located in the W2 car park on the north-west side of the stadium. 

If you misplace your ticket, you must contact Brentford's ticket office for assistance. Please remember to bring ID to collect your ticket.

We would also like to remind fans travelling to Old Trafford to observe and respect the family friendly seating. Anyone who holds a ticket in the family friendly area is reminded that they should be seated for the duration of the match. 

Your matchday at Old Trafford 

Bees fans will be situated in the east stand and the away turnstiles at Old Trafford are located in the south-east corner of the stadium. Turnstiles will open two hours before kick-off.

Old Trafford has an accessibility suite located in the south-east quadrant and accessible to supporters with tickets in relevant areas.

Supporters are also able to use the ability suite to recharge their powered wheelchairs/scooters or portable ventilators. 

There are no designated away pubs around Old Trafford and visiting supporters are encouraged to use Manchester city centre for a drink and bite to eat before travelling to the stadium.
