Getting to St James’ Park
St James’ Park is one of the most accessible stadiums in England, sitting in the heart of Newcastle city centre.
Supporters travelling to Newcastle are encouraged to make use of public transport options or walk to the ground.

Travel and transport
Newcastle Central Station is a principal stop for services from London. The station is a 10-minute walk from St James’ Park.
The stadium is located close to the junction of Gallowgate, St James’ Boulevard and Barrack Road, and just a 10-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station and around five minutes from Monument Metro Station and the city’s major bus stations. Simply follow the pedestrian signs located throughout the city centre.
There are no public car parks on event days at St James’ Park and traffic restrictions will be in place.
Newcastle United operate a park and ride system from two sites: Newcastle Great Park (close to the Newcastle Racecourse) and the Metrocentre.

Ticket information
Please ensure you have your ticket with you before you travel to the stadium. Fans are advised not to travel unless they are in possession of a valid match ticket.
Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Newcastle United by the Brentford ticket office. Duplicate tickets must be collected on matchday at St James’ Park. Please head to point A at the main box office. The ticket collections booth will open 90 minutes before kick-off. Photo identification will be required for ticket collection.

We would also like to remind fans travelling to St James’ Park to observe and respect the family friendly seating. Anyone who holds a ticket in the family friendly seating area is reminded that they should be seated for the duration of the match.
Your matchday at St James’ Park
Bees fans will enter the stadium through the Leazes Stand, turnstiles 91-94.
St James’ Park away allocation is located on level seven. Please be aware there are 140 stairs and 14 landings on the way up to your seat. If you feel uncomfortable climbing those stairs, please speak to a steward who will direct you to a lift.
Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off. All fans will be subject to searching. Drugs and pyro detection dogs will be present.
Around the ground
St James’ Park has its own external bar, Shearer’s Bar, which is open to visiting supporters. The bar is located beneath the Gallowgate Stand.
While there are other pubs and bars close by in Newcastle city centre, please be mindful that some venues will not welcome visiting supporters, particularly those wearing club colours.
However, there are a lot of dining options and bars in Newcastle city centre that will welcome Brentford fans.
