Three of Brentford’s fixtures in August and September will be shown live on TV in the UK. The UK broadcast selections for the first two months of the campaign have been confirmed, the first weekend live matches were announced last month. A trio of Brentford games will be shown live.
Our first home game of the season, against Manchester United, will be shown live on Sky Sports. The game will remain on Saturday 13 August, but the kick-off has changed. This match will now kick-off at 5.30pm.
Our game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park will also be shown live. This match will be on BT Sport on Tuesday 30 August. The kick-off for the match has been brought forward to 7.30pm.
Brentford’s Premier League match against Arsenal will also be shown live in the UK. This match has been selected as part of Sky Sports’ Super Sunday. It will now be played on Sunday 18 September and will kick-off at 2pm.
Bees fans are reminded that our first game of the season will be against Leicester City on Sunday 7 August. This match will kick-off at 2pm but will not be live on TV. Broadcast selections for games up to the weekend of Saturday 17 September have now been made. The weekend of Saturday 24 September has no Premier League games because of international fixtures.
Fixtures are amended throughout the season for several reasons, including live TV broadcast selections and to accommodate domestic and European cup competitions. For this reason, Premier League fixtures are always advertised as being subject to change. Below are the approximate dates for when the announcements on matches that have been selected for live TV broadcast will be made.
