Brentford FC and Ticketmaster have partnered to transform the way fans purchase tickets for matches.
The club has decided, after much consideration, to choose Ticketmaster to provide its ticketing technology moving forward.
The new partnership will enhance the online ticketing experience for all Bees fans from next season as tickets go on sale for the 2023/2024 campaign.
From 3D virtual venue to digital tickets to ticket exchange, supporters will benefit from the full range of Ticketmaster’s technologies.
In particular, their ticket exchange was a key deciding factor in the club choosing Ticketmaster’s technology solutions.
Jon Varney, Brentford chief executive, said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Ticketmaster Sport from the summer of 2023 who will provide ticketing services and deliver a new online ticketing platform for Brentford FC.
“Using the feedback we received from our fans and from our staff, we reviewed a number of options in the market and we felt that Ticketmaster was best placed to provide the solution we needed.
“We believe that their platform will make it easier for our fans to buy tickets and manage their ticketing accounts. Their ticket exchange in particular was one feature that we were impressed with.
“It’s intuitive and easy to use – and this will be really important for us as we look to maximise seat occupancy going forward.
“Season ticket renewals will be handled via our existing system and we will transition to Ticketmaster in the summer.”
Commenting on the deal, Chris Gratton, managing director of Ticketmaster Sport, said: “A successful Premier League club like Brentford FC will benefit from the technologies Ticketmaster can offer.
“Ticketmaster’s ticket exchange and 3D virtual venue are just two of the many facets of our technology which will elevate the fan experience for the Bees.
“We are excited about the start of this relationship and look forward to working with Brentford FC for years to come.”
