We are pleased to confirm that 16-year-old Tony Yogane has joined the Club from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.
Tony has signed scholarship forms and a pre-contract agreement to become a professional which will be triggered when he turns 17. The professional contract will run for three years.
Tony will work with Neil MacFarlane’s B Team to continue his development in West London. The young winger joins from Wednesday alongside Isaac Holland after coming through the ranks at Hillsborough.
The young winger was able to break into the Under-18 set up as he helped them to a fourth place league finish during the 2021/22 campaign whilst they also reached the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup as the side faced Blackburn Rovers.
Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane is pleased to add another young winger to his squad. He said: “Tony is somebody who has the ability to eliminate players and get at defenders. He will bring a lot to the team in that respect during his time with us. We will look to develop him and parts of his game that can make him better and better over the course of the season.
“We have the ability to now work with Tony, as well as Isaac, for a longer period of time as they’ve come to us at 16, and we’re looking forward to seeing how both players develop in the coming years."
