The 2022/23 Premier League fixtures were released earlier today. Brentford will start away to Leicester City and the full list can be seen here. Broadcast selections for the first weekend of the season were also made.
The season will start on Friday 5 August when Crystal Palace host Arsenal live on Sky Sports at 8pm. In the opening round of matches, Sky Bet Championship winners Fulham will host Liverpool at 12.30pm on Saturday 6 August, broadcast live on BT Sport. Chelsea’s trip to Everton will take place at 5.30pm on Sky Sports.
Sky Sports will also show two matches on Sunday 7 August with Brighton and Hove Albion travelling to Manchester United for the 2pm kick off, before Premier League champions Manchester City begin their defence of the title at West Ham United at 4.30pm. A total of 200 matches will be shown live in the UK by Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime Video. Remaining broadcast selections for August and the month of September will be announced by Tuesday 5 July.
The Premier League have also confirmed Boxing Day fixtures will be played on 26 and 27 December. The following match round will be played across 29, 30, 31 December. The New Year match round will be played on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 January. The final matches of the campaign will be played on Sunday 28 May 2023, when all games will kick off simultaneously at 4pm.
