The new female addition to the Brentford Football Club family arrived at Griffin Park yesterday.
Buzzette, a new female Brentford furry mascot, landed in TW8 and took a tour of her new surroundings.
She will join her brother Buzz Bee in meeting fans all around the ground and in the Family Area on Brentford match days.
Buzzette will be introduced to the Griffin Park crowd before tonight’s home match against Yeovil Town and will be in the Family Area for Saturday’s game against Crewe Alexandra.
Buzzette was brought to Griffin Park as part of a new drive to promote Brentford as a great place for a family day out, which will include revamping the Club’s Family Area – in The Bill Axbey Stand.
There were dozens of great ideas from our younger supporters for a new mascot and Buzzette was an amalgamation of a design produced by Rachel Cook, aged ten, and a name invented by Liam Cully, aged five.
