Brentford Women will look to make it three wins in a row on Sunday at they face Hammersmith in the first round of the Capital Cup at Gunnersbury Sports Park in a 2pm kick-off.
The Bees have built some momentum over the past few weeks with important wins in the London South East Division One North.
Brentford will now look to carry their form into the Capital Cup, a competition which the side reached the final last season.
Last time out
Karleigh Osborne’s team picked up another important league win in their previous fixture with the side edging out Dulwich Hamlet Reserves to pick up a 2-1 victory.
Both sides played out a narrow first half with either team able to create any real goal-scoring opportunities.
It took an Ellen Wardlaw wonder strike to break the deadlock just after the hour mark only for Dulwich to reply moments later. It was Nikki Woods who secured all three points for the Bees with her goal on 81 minutes.

The side will be keen to get back to winning ways following their most recent result which saw Hammersmith lose 1-0 to Comets.

Brentford Women B will travel to Hilltop on Sunday in the Greater London Division One North at Stonebridge Recreation Ground in a 2pm kick-off.
The B team currently sit in third place in the league table with a game in hand over Impact and East London Ladies who are placed first and second.
Tommy Ryan-Maynard’s side remain the only team in the league unbeaten and like the first team, the B team will look to make it three wins on the bounce.

Brentford put on another brilliant display in their last fixture against Tower Hamlets at Bedfont Sports Club.
The side continued their unbeaten start to the season with a dominant display. Two strikes from Jasmine King and goals from Kasey Clifford and Eshe Davies ensured the victory for the Bees.
