Thomas Frank has said that Arsenal are one of, if not the best, team in the division at the moment and expects a tough game on Sunday.
The Bees boss also discussed Ivan Toney's recent England call-up and how 'proud' he is of all the club's internationals, including Spain goalkeeper David Raya.
As for the Gunners, Thomas believes that only Manchester City are performing better than Mikel Arteta's side at the moment.
"We are playing against a very good side," said Thomas
"When we beat them a year ago, I think they were not in the same place as they are now. It was still a fantastic win for Brentford against a club as massive as Arsenal and against top players.
"Doing it on Sunday would be completely different because for me, now, after [Manchester] City, they are the best performing team in the league.
"Maybe, in spells, they've been the best performing team over the first six games. I think they've been remarkable, especially the intensity they play with.
"I've watched a lot of their games, not live, but I remember being sat there on the Friday night for their opening game of the season watching them against Crystal Palace.
"I was thinking, 'What?! That's another level'. For the first 20 minutes, Crystal Palace didn't touch the ball. And I thought, 'They could win the Premier League!'
"I think they've been fantastic. I think the players are growing, they've got the right players in.
"I know [William] Saliba came back; [Gabriel] Jesus has been a fantastic signing; and I think [Martin] Odegaard, the way he plays at this moment in time, [Kevin] De Bruyne is a decent player, but he's not far off him in terms of performances."
Along with Toney's recent England call-up, the Bees have multiple other internationals who will join up with their nations next week, including Spain's Raya.
And Thomas says that this is a credit to the work the club has done in recent seasons and will help attract future targets to join the Bees.
"I definitely think it adds another layer to the story we try to sell to players we try to sign - the fact they can develop and go to the next level," he said.
"Ivan, and David as well, I'd like to include him in this, came from Championship and League One clubs and were not usual youth national team players for their countries.
"They were developed here, as well as their time at other clubs. It's David's fourth year and Ivan's third year here, and it's a very proud moment for all of us involved, that we've been a part of their development."
