Archie Trimboli’s football journey started relatively late at age nine, when he first joined his local team as a goalkeeper. Showing versatility and determination, Archie played in a national final for his school and went on several trials at clubs like Crystal Palace and Wimbledon.

However, at 14, he made the bold decision to switch to playing as an outfielder, ultimately securing a place as a right-back in Brentford’s U18 team just one year later.

His hard work paid off when he earned a scholarship with Brentford FC, just two years after transitioning from goalkeeper to outfielder—a remarkable achievement he considers one of his proudest moments, alongside scoring a last-minute free kick to win a game.

Known for his energetic, explosive, and passionate playing style, Archie has big ambitions for the 2024/25 season. His goals include becoming a regular starter for the U18s and helping the team secure both the PDL league and cup. On match days, you’ll find him getting pumped up to Travis Scott tracks, while his initiation song of choice is Oasis' iconic Wonderwall.

Reflecting on his time at Brentford so far, Archie describes his experience as one that requires “time and dedication.” Representing the club in Germany was one of his greatest moments wearing the shirt, and training alongside first-team players at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre has taught him the importance of doing everything to the best of his ability.

Looking ahead, Archie believes his elite game understanding and tactical awareness will be invaluable assets to Brentford in the future. With continued growth and hard work, he’s determined to make a lasting impact at the club.
