Brentford B have completed the signing of Kane O'Connor from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 18-year-old completed his medical last week before signing a two-year contract. This also includes an optional extension of 12 months for the Club. He will join the squad at the beginning of pre-season ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
A Scotland youth international centre-back, Kane was a Hibs player for almost a decade, making his way up to the Development Squad in 2017. He also was part of the Scotland Under-17 side that played in the Victory Shield that season.
B Team Assistant Coach Allan Steele said: "Kane is a person who we have been interested in for a long period of time and our recruitment department have worked extremely hard to make this possible. He is a solid player and character and one we feel will bring a lot into our squad. Kane showed qualities that we feel will take him a long way and we believe our environment will allow him to thrive."
