The 20-year-old striker joined The Dons in September, on the same day that he signed a new long-term contract with Brentford. Marcus hit the ground running at Kingsmeadow, netting seven goals in his first six games. That tally included a first career hat-trick against Southend United and saw Marcus named the EFL Young Player of the Month for October.

Marcus netted a further four goals in December and was nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month prize. The Finnish Youth International leaves The Dons with 11 goals and one assist to his name in 18 league appearances.
