Brentford's Sky Bet Championship match against Rotherham United next week will be live on Sky Sports. The game has been scheduled for next Tuesday, 27 April, and will kick-off at 7pm. There is no change to the date and time of the game but it will now be shown live by the EFL's broadcast partner.

The game was originally scheduled for early March but had to be rearranged. Rotherham reported positive Covid-19 tests and informed the EFL they would be unable to play on that day. The game was shifted to the penultimate midweek of the season.

This is one of two Sky Bet Championship games chosen today for live TV coverage. The game between Derby County and Birmingham City on Saturday, 24 April, will also be shown live at 3pm. This will follow Brentford's match against AFC Bournemouth, which will be televised live at 12.30pm on Saturday.

Brentford will be looking to complete a Sky Bet Championship double over Rotherham after winning 2-0 in Yorkshire earlier this season in another game shown live by Sky Sports. Second half goals from Marcus Forss and Ivan Toney gave Brentford the win on a cold December evening. Toney set up the first for Forss and then stroked home a penalty to make the game safe.

Rotherham are currently 22nd in the Championship and battling relegation. Due to postponements, like the one against Brentford, they have six games left to play. They are four points behind Derby County, who are 21st in the table and just outside the relegation zone but do have a better goal difference.

The match will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors next week. As per Club communication, those that froze their Season Tickets will be able to watch on iFollow Brentford if they do not have Sky Sports. See more here.

Fans who are not in either category can access the game online via Now TV. Fans can pay for one-day access, which would also give them the ability to watch that day's other live sport. Alternatively there are longer passes available. See more here.
