A full round of Covid-19 tests was conducted at the Brentford FC Training Ground yesterday, Thursday 7 January. During this testing, two positive results were returned. Head Coach Thomas Frank was one of those to return a positive test.

Thomas will now isolate at home for ten days under EFL and Government regulations. Due to medical confidentiality, we will not give any further details of the other positive test.

In Thomas’ absence Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane oversaw First Team training today. He will be in the dugout and in charge of the team tomorrow, Saturday, when The Bees face Middlesbrough in the Emirates FA Cup.
