Fantasy Premier League is live and managers all over the world are lining up to add Brentford players to their squads. The game went live last month and managers can create their squads now for the 2021/22 season. You can register your team ahead of the start of the new campaign, which kicks off on Friday 13 August, and for the first time ever, you can put Brentford players in it, which is exactly what some of the Premier League's Fantasy experts have done.

With a £100million budget to spend and unlimited transfers until Gameweek 1, you can use the next seven weeks to tinker with potential team selections.

Early trends have shown Ivan Toney as one of the most popular players in the game, and the most popular striker. In a piece compiled early in the selection window, Ivan had been selected by 39.1 per cent of managers. He selected in a squad named by The Scout last week and has also been chosen by other FPL experts.

The Premier League has assembled a squad of experts to deliver Fantasy Premier League insight to FPL managers. Fantasy bosses with proven pedigree and respected social influencers are on hand ahead of each match. One of them, Sam Bonfield, named Ivan in an initial squad and explained why here.

Fantasy Premier League enables you to create and join up to 20 private leagues with friends. You can play in classic leagues, with total points deciding the rankings, or take part in head-to-head leagues, where managers duel each Gameweek, earning three points for a win and one for a draw.
