Brentford will put their unbeaten start to their pre-season schedule on the line when they face Manchester United on Wednesday. The Bees have won three out of three so far and next up is a trip to Old Trafford. The match will be played on Wednesday, 28 July, and will kick-off at 8pm.
Brentford beat Watford 3-1 in a friendly yesterday. Ivan Toney scored twice in the match, played at Watford's Training Ground, and Halil Dervişoğlu got the third. That added to wins in the last eight days against AFC Wimbledon and Boreham Wood.
There will be a travelling contingent of Brentford fans for the match. Ticket sales ended on Thursday, 22 July, and no more are available. The ticket sales information can be seen here.
For those that cannot attend, there will be live coverage of the fixture on MUTV. The match will be Brentford's first visit to Old Trafford since an EFL Cup tie in 1975. The sides will also meet in the Premier League this season with The Bees heading back to Old Trafford in April 2022.
Brentford's Premier League season will start on Friday 13 August with a game against Arsenal. The Bees will play in the top flight of English football for the first time since 1947 and the game against Manchester United is part of the build-up to the season. It will be the third friendly of pre-season for our hosts, who beat Derby County last week and lost to Queens Park Rangers in West London yesterday.
