The record-breaking striker took nearly 60 per cent of the fans' vote, with Vitaly Janelt coming in second ahead of Sergi Canos in third.
Ivan's maiden season in TW8 could hardly have gone better as he set a new Sky Bet Championship goals record and scored the opener at Wembley as we ended a 74-year wait for a return to the top flight of English football.
Ivan started strong with eight goals in six games seeing him named the October Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month and continued that form throughout the winter. The 25-year-old failed to score in just four of 17 Championship games between late September and mid-December.
He netted a hat-trick against Wycombe Wanderers at the end of January and brought up 20 for the season the following midweek at home to Bristol City. Ivan struck his 25th of the season at home to Stoke City at the end of February making him the fastest man to that mark for Brentford since 1937.
His 30th of the season arrived at home to Watford on the penultimate afternoon of the regular season before a 57th minute effort at Bristol City on the final day saw him break Glenn Murray's Championship goals record. On top of his 31 Championship goals, he also registered ten assists.
In the Play-Offs, he netted from the spot to begin our Semi-Final Second Leg comeback against AFC Bournemouth before holding his nerve again from 12 yards at Wembley to give us an early lead against Swansea City in the final.
As well as this fans' award, Ivan has also been named the Football League World Fans’ Championship Player of the Season, Irish Bees Player of the Year and EFL Player of the Year at the London Football Awards.
He was also one of three Bees players that appeared in the PFA Sky Bet Championship Team of the Year, alongside Rico Henry and Ethan Pinnock, and was a runner-up to Emi Buendia for the EFL Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year award. He was also named in the Championship Team of the Season by WhoScored.com and The Sun.
