Vitaly returns to the the Germany Under-21 group after missing out on the last two squads. He has six caps for his nation at Under-21 level, including four in qualifying for this year's Championships.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable debut season in West London following his summer move from VFL Bochum. Vitaly slotted straight into the heart of midfield following Christian Nørgaard's injury and has been an ever-present in the Sky Bet Championship since signing. He netted his first Bees goal in our 2-1 derby win over Queens Park Rangers with a second arriving during our 4-1 win over Middlesbrough last month. He also netted a Goal of the Season contender to complete the turnaround against Stoke City in late February.
