Hans joined the Club in January 2022 on a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season but has spent the past two months on loan with Icelandic side Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV). Following the completion of his loan deal, Hans' contract with Brentford will expire today (30 June.) The 19-year-old netted once for the B Team as he helped them to a 4-0 London Senior Cup Semi-Final win over Barking in April this year. In total he turned out eight times for Neil MacFarlane's young Bees before joining ÍBV for a short loan spell. Whilst in Iceland Hans made five appearances for ÍBV as he worked under Hermann Hreiðarsson. Hans impressed with non-league side Needham Market before spending a short period on trial with the B Team. He netted four goals for Market which helped earn him a move to West London. Discussing the departure of Hans, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: "We wish Hans really well. He signed for us following a trial period until the end of last season and he had the chance to gain experience on loan in Iceland to build minutes. He came to us from a non-league environment and pushed himself in training but didn’t quite get the minutes he would have liked. “We feel it's the best decision for both parties for him to move on and find a new home now his contract has come to an end. He's a really good lad who departs with our best wishes. " The Club would like to thank Hans for his efforts during his time with The Bees and he departs with the best wishes of everyone at the Football Club.
