Christian Eriksen, Christian Nørgaard and Mathias Jensen have all been named in the Denmark squad for a pair of friendlies later this month.

Kasper Hjulmand's men will meet the Netherlands in Amsterdam on 26 March before heading home to Parken in Copenhagen for a game against Serbia on 29 March. The Danes will train in Marbella leading up to the two games.

It's Christian Eriksen's first inclusion back with the national squad since his cardiac arrest at last summer's European Championship. The 30-year-old has 109 international caps to his name, scoring 36 goals. Since signing for The Bees, Christian has featured three times for Thomas Frank's side, setting up Ivan Toney for the opener on Saturday as we beat Burnley 2-0 at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Alongside Eriksen in the Denmark squad are the midfield pair of Christian Nørgaard and Mathias Jensen. Both players were a key part of Denmark's successful 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying campaign which saw The Danes win nine of their ten qualifiers to comfortably book their spot in Qatar. Christian and Mathias have identical records for their nation with 15 appearances and one goal to their name, both of those goals coming against Moldova in qualifying for this winter's World Cup.

Denmark will find out their opponents for this winter's World Cup on Friday 1 April.
