Dom, who joined the young Bees prior to the start of the campaign, had a stellar season for Neil MacFarlane's side. The Welshman was regularly the captain of the side, leading them in the Atlantic Cup in Portugal, as well as helping them to lift the London Senior Cup with a victory over Hendon FC.

During half-time at Brentford Community Stadium on Sunday as Brentford hosted Leeds United, Dom was presented with the award by Mary's daughter, Caroline. The award commemorates former Club employee Mary Halder who worked at Brentford for more than 25 years. The award was given to Dom for his fantastic leadership skills over the course of the season as well as his attitude and character which saw him become a key player for the young Bees throughout the season. In total, Dom played 42 times for the B Team in the 2021/22 campaign as he helped himself to eight goals from midfield and he also gained seven assists in over 2,600 minutes of game time.
