For the first time, the Gtech Community Stadium will host a Brentford Women’s fixture on Sunday 13 November, 3pm, against Watford Ladies Development.

Bees fans are urged to take up the free tickets and show their support as we aim for a record crowd.

Gates will open at 2pm on Sunday 13 November for the 3pm kick-off against Watford Ladies Development in the London South East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North. The South Stand will be open for this big day for the team.

All tickets for the game are free and up to six tickets per person can be claimed at tickets.brentfordfc.com. Anyone without a Brentford ticketing account will need to register for an account to claim their tickets. For group bookings of more than six tickets, please email [email protected].

Brentford FC Chief Executive, Jon Varney, commented ahead of the game: “Following the England Lionesses’ recent success in the UEFA Women’s EURO, the women’s game in this country is at an all-time high. At Brentford, we were proud to play our part hosting four games in that tournament and we want to continue that by putting more focus on Brentford’s women’s teams.

“Playing at the Gtech Community Stadium will be an amazing experience for the team and a great way to show how important they are to the Club. We want our women’s teams to continue to grow and progress and I believe an opportunity like this is a great way to help them do that.

“I hope that our supporters take advantage of the free tickets for this game and bring along all their friends and family to enjoy a great match and atmosphere and really get behind the women’s team.”

General Manager of Brentford FC’s women’s teams, Amy Crook, believes this will be a great chance for the Club to spread awareness of women’s football as a whole: “An event like this will only help the growth of the women’s game, helping to inspire more young women and girls locally to get involved in football.

“I am so excited and incredibly proud that we have been given the chance to showcase the First Team at the Gtech Community Stadium and to do it in front of what hopefully will be a record crowd is such a thrilling prospect.”

First Team Manager, Karleigh Osborne, was equally happy when he heard the news that his team will be playing at the stadium.

He said: “I am really looking forward to being in the dugout at the Gtech. I know for the girls it’s going to be a massive occasion and they will be looking forward to putting on a show for the fans.

“It’s great that the Club are fully behind us and are pushing our team to be playing at the highest possible level. We’ve had some great experiences playing for Brentford already, including playing at Griffin Park and having more than 1,000 supporters down at Bedfont Sports Club last season but this game takes us to another level and will help us to retain our players and give them the support they need for future success.”
